Date Night

Since moving to our new city we have been blessed by a sweet young couple who comes over every Tuesday night to watch AB so KB and I can get a little "alone" time. Our idea of alone time has changed since we were first married. As newlyweds and after having AB we considered alone time as when it was just KB and myself. However now that we have DB we realize as long as DB remains immobile and quiet, having him with us is just as good as alone time. Therefore, date night is usually KB, DB and myself. Unfortunately the immobile part is ending soon, and I hope our friends will be willing to watch DB too. Last week we had to take turns eating dinner because DB kept trying to take the food from us as we were eating it.

Anyways, when we go on dates we often go to the local mall. Gosh that sounds like a lame teenager date, but it has everything we need, Papa Johns, Starbucks, Dairy Queen (drinks and sweets only) and a movie theater. Have we ever mentioned that the young people of this country absolutely and completely loooooove Transformers? They like to decorate their cars with Transformer stickers. Adults wear Transformer t-shirts. You can hear ringtones dedicated to the movie everywhere. Local advertisers even got in on the action. Much to the delight of nationals of this country, a local famous milk is mentioned by name in the movie. The mention received applause during the showing of the movie we attended. So it was no surprise to us that a huge spectacle was made of the #3 movie release. Outside the mall they erected a HUGE statue of Optimus Prime (I do not care if I spelled that right). KB wanted to let you all see how respectable adults lose their dignity over this movie. Check out the guy in the striped shirt. He was just one of many doing the same thing.
We came home to see AB dressed up like this -

The next morning -
