Standing AB

Ever since AB was born, she wanted to stand.  In fact, most of the time she would prefer to stand than sit. The first thing she wants to do after eating is to stand on my lap for a long time. I know the old wives tale about babies standing and it causing bowed legs, but like I said it is just an old wives tale.  What I read said, if a baby wants to stand up then let them stand up. They won't stand until they are ready for it, so AB must be ready!  AB started pulling up on my thumbs at 4 months.  She is months a way from standing on her own...she wobbles like crazy, but this is my sweet standing AB.
