When we picked out a dog for our family, we wanted a dog that has a temperament appropriate for children, and we wanted a dog that did not shed. Pretty much a Bichon was the best bet. Right now we have to keep him at a distance from her, he would love to lick her entire little body if we let him, so this is as close as he is allowed to get to her right now. They just stare at each other; it is cute. We have to watch him though, because he knows when we are not looking and he almost always makes the most of the opportunity and goes straight for her feet.
