I just wanted to post this photo of us last year at KB's birthday party. You can see my little baby bump. I remember it was around that time that I started "showing" rather than looking like I just had eaten too much for several weeks. I was so proud. However looking at this picture it still looks like I had just eaten too much.

KB's Birthday Brownie

Like I have said before, AB won "Pin the nose on the KB." She was unstoppable.

ML and KB

My brother, husband and father spent an afternoon taking in the "sights" of our town. Afterwards they unwound with a cool drink from McDonalds, our go-to drink shop in town (it also has cleanish bathrooms, a definite plus).

KB took them to a local park. Although it looks like they are climbing a mountain somewhere in the wilderness, this is right in the middle of the city. Fortunately since people must pay a small entrance fee the place is not swarming with people.

Gee whiz, Toby's new hair cut looks terrible. He is still the same lovable dog he ever was though.

Bathing Beauth

I think because she is always a bit chilly, AB loves to be held after her bath. Whatever the reason, I completely love this time.

Downtime

While my family was here ALL of them, plus my husband, contracted some sort of stomach virus. Some had it worse than others. Either way, quite a few nights were spent like this in effort to coax their bodies into recovery.

Seeing that this is the first and only time that my dad seen AB in person since she was born, he took every opportunity to take photos of our highly photogenic baby.

My dad has a great DSLR. I think he took these photos because none of mine have ever looked this good.

Creeping AB

AB no longer stays still. In fact now I have to keep an eye on her at all times to make sure she is not licking the tile or has scooted over to the trash can or to the spot the paint is chipping off of the wall. I thought I would have at least another month or two before I had to worry about this. I guess it is time to install all of those beautiful child safety locks.

She likes the tile because she can spin on her belly very easily.

Toby is always interested in her progress. I think because the more she progresses, the more fun she is for him.

KB's Birthday Party

Last week KB turned 28. Thanks to my family being in town we had the biggest birthday party our little town has ever seen! As one of the activities we played "Pin the Nose on the KB." AB won. All of these pictures are from my mom's camera, so check back later for when I post some that I took.

Then we played a shooting range game with toy guns. We shot at targets and plastic animals.

Somehow I , LB, won. We had a lot of fun.

I am not sure how these got mixed into KB's birthday pics, but here they are.

AB loves Toby, and Toby loves AB. Unfortunately for them we make them love each other at a distance. We have already caught Toby cleaning out her mouth on more than one occasion, and she apparently likes the taste of his chew toys. Here they are getting to enjoy some quality time together.

Although it looks like Toby is biting AB, he is just licking her. If you can see the expression on the side of her face, you will see that she is enjoying it.
