These are two very nasty potholes in the middle of the sidewalk. If you were to fall in, you would want to burn your clothes and shave your head because raw sewage is what greets you at the bottom. You will notice there is no barrier to prevent someone from accidently falling in. It also looks like people have been relieving themselves and missing hole. By they way, this is a very educated guess because we have witnessed it with other open pot holes. Nasty!
