With five adults in our apartment, AB was never without someone to play with.

Foot Massage

One day last week we rounded up the whole gang and headed to the foot massage parlor. My brother took a photo of us taking photos of my dad (see the post below). I still prefer the Thai foot massage, but it was really fun experiencing this with my family.

I did not realize this until he told me, but my dad has NEVER had any sort of massage. This was his first and possibly only massage he will ever have. Apparently he is not the "touchy-feely" type.

Although we ate hotpot, AB ate rice cereal with apple juice and carrot pure. I am not sure she appreciated her food once she saw ours. She tried to grab mine off of my plate.

Hot Pot, Part 1

A few days ago a local friend treated us all to hotpot. Although this is usually eaten in the winter, not in this ridiculous summer humidity, they had a good air conditioner in the room. You can see in the pictures that we definitely ate beef and shrimp. The shrimp were live, and jumped when put into the boiling water - someone said if you listen closely you can hear them scream when put in the water. I think they were just saying that to make us feel bad.

Identical Blue Eyes

I always thought AB's particular shade of eye color came from KB...maybe they do, maybe the don't. Look at how similar AB's eye color is to my mom's.

AB's New Toy

This paper cup entertained AB for quite a while. I am going to have to use it more often. The best part was that it is completely clean, and when she ultimately dropps it on the floor I can just throw it away and get her a new one.

As AB was transitioning to change out of her PJ's she decided to spend a little time hanging out with her Gigi on the dining table.

Bowling at the hotel

On Saturday we went to the local 5 star hotel (5 star hotels here are like a 2 star in the U.S.) and bowled. We thought it would be a good way to help deal with jet-lag. It seemed to work.

This lane has been "under repairing" for more than a year. It was "under repairing" when LB turned 27 in April 2008.

The van ride from the airport to our city

We chartered a 8 passenger van to drive us to pick-up my parents at the airport 3-4 hours from our home. We were all exhausted, but my dad gave in to sleep before anyone else.
