What is wrong with this picture? KB was stuck in a traffic jam, and the culprit was this brick truck that tried to run a red light and then broke down in the intersection.

Kevin dusted off his dress shirt, slacks and nice shoes for Easter. LB wore a pair of pants she is convinced she has not put on since she worked in Fort Worth. Either way we wanted to set this day apart from the rest of the year, and at this point putting on nicer clothes is definitely setting this day apart.

Easter and Bedtime.

AB is wearing her pretty Easter dress for our Easter Sunday. She is also wearing her new white bow. It adds so much to her outfit.

Mommy is reading to AB just before she goes to bed. We think she really likes this book because of the bright pictures. He other favorite (only books until the next box arrives) are Where the Wild Things Are, Where is Peter Rabbit, Baby Love, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and What Can Babies Do?

Blessings from Friends

Some friends from Arlington sent AB some hair bows. I was so excited that she had enough hair (about 5 strands) to clip the bow around. She is so cute!

This outfit was also sent by some friends in Arlington. AB was so excited to wear it!

These gifts were sent to AB by LB's longtime friend Shelley. I don't know what LB was more excited about, the gifts or the pretty paper they were wrapped in.

Three Month Photos

AB turned 3 months old on Thursday, April 9th. She weighted 12 lbs, was 24.1 inches long, and apparently has a tiny head that I think I need to remeasure. She holds her head up very well, giggles, drools, reaches and grabs things, sucks her thumb, coos a lot, and is showing signs of rolling over soon.

The people of this country have a passion for trees that blossom. These photos were taken at our university. Although these are peach and pear blossoms, these trees don't actually bear fruit. It is a bit confusing why they are then called peach and pear blossoms, but no one can really give us a good explanation. KB took these on his phone; the colors are more vibrant than these photos show.
